Lootup is a get-paid-to-site that pays you to do small tasks. While you’re not getting rich doing the tasks, they can be fun ways to make money in your free time.
Common tasks on Lootup include taking surveys, paid offers, watching videos, playing games, online shopping, and friend referrals.
Like all get-paid-to-sites, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the site and what pays the most points. For example, watching videos pays peanuts, but answering surveys or accepting offers often pays a little more.
It’s fun to play around with the site to see what will make you the most money, as it depends on your area and what you qualify for, especially if you’ll answer surveys.
It all sounds great, but how does Lootup work? In other words, what must you do to get paid?
The process is simple.
Keep in mind, like most get-paid-to sites, the tasks are usually menial, taking only a few seconds. The largest ‘task’ on the platform is shopping online, but it’s relatively new for Lootup, so there may not be many opportunities yet.
The best way to make money on it is by answering surveys, watching videos, and taking advantage of offers. If you do this while watching TV or waiting at the doctor’s office, you won’t mind if you only make $1 or less for the task, as it’s something to do to pass the time.
Lootup pays members in points for tasks completed. Each point is worth $0.001, and it takes 1,000 points to equal $1. You can redeem your earnings with gift cards or PayPal payouts. BitPay payments require a minimum balance of $5.10.
When you sign up, you can earn points immediately by completing your profile, verifying your email, and entering a giveaway. Every day there are new opportunities, and you may also have chances to earn free points with the following:
Lootup has recently launched a new leveling-up rewards system, LevelUP Rewards.
To make your time spent on Lootup more rewarding, as you earn cash rewards by completing surveys, playing games, watching videos, etc, you will cross earning thresholds, making you LevelUP and increase your earnings.

It’s always a good idea to be weary of get-paid-to-sites to ensure you aren’t being scammed.

Of course, like any get-paid-to-site, there are negative reviews. Some people claim the app glitches too much, and others complain that the app is only available on the Google Play store.

While I love the reviews on Google Play, I always check TrustPilot, too, so I completely understand what people think of the apps I review.
Lootup has a TrustPilot score of 4.5 stars out of 5, with many 5-star happy reviews. Again, some people leave negative reviews, but I’ve noticed that Lootup customer service almost instantly responds to the issue and tries to make it right with the member. In addition, they have 24/7 customer support, so you have a good chance of having your questions answered any time of day.
Getting paid is what it’s all about with get-paid-to sites, right? You exchange your free time for a chance to make money, even if it’s pocket change for now. However, if you dedicate your free time to the app and are strategic about your chosen tasks, you’ll find that you can cash out for gift cards, PayPal, or crypto sooner than you thought.
My favorite way to cash out on Lootup is PayPal. You can cash out when you have $1, but waiting until you earn more is best. You can spend the money on your own, whether on PayPal or transferring it to your bank account. Lootup doesn’t charge any fees.
Gift cards are another great way to use your Lootup earnings. Like cashing out with PayPal, there aren’t any fees, so you can enjoy your total earnings and shop guilt-free.
The final option is to cash out with cryptocurrency (BitPay). As I said earlier, you’ll need at least $5.10 to cash out, and they charge a 1% fee for this redemption option, so use it with caution.
You’ll usually receive your PayPal or gift cards within two business days when you redeem your points. BitPay redemptions take a little longer, sometimes as long as five days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Like most get-paid-to-sites, you aren’t going to pay your bills with the earnings on Lootup.
On average, surveys pay 50 to 300 points, and most other tasks pay around the same amount.
Many say the surveys are a bit time-consuming, so you may be better off earning points by watching videos, playing games, accepting offers, and shopping online.
Lootup is currently only on Google Play; however, if you have an iOS device, you can access it on your mobile web browser.
The site is mobile-optimized, so it should be as easy to use on your phone as on your PC.

To compete in the referral contest, you’ll receive points for each referral based on their country. So, for example, if you refer people from the United States, you’ll earn 50 points per referral. But if you refer someone from Belgium or Denmark, you’ll earn 25 points per referral.
Lootup also pays members to watch videos, but what they’re really paying you to do is watch ads. There are ads strategically placed before, during, and after the video. You must watch all ads to get credit for your time.
Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to sit with your undivided attention on the video; however, you must have it open in an active tab. If you switch to another tab, the video stops playing.
