Lootup Review 2023

The post Lootup Review 2023 appeared first on Millennial Money.

Are you trying to make extra cash? If you want something you can do in your free time and from anywhere, check out Lootup. This get-paid-to-site and app, allows you to earn money for things like answering online surveys, watching videos, and playing games.

You won’t pay the mortgage or have enough money to pay the grocery bill, Lootup is an excellent source for earning some extra cash when every dollar helps.

Here are my thoughts on Lootup and its legitimacy.

What Is Lootup?

Lootup is a get-paid-to-site that pays you to do small tasks. While you’re not getting rich doing the tasks, they can be fun ways to make money in your free time.

Common tasks on Lootup include taking surveys, paid offers, watching videos, playing games, online shopping, and friend referrals.

Like all get-paid-to-sites, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the site and what pays the most points. For example, watching videos pays peanuts, but answering surveys or accepting offers often pays a little more.

It’s fun to play around with the site to see what will make you the most money, as it depends on your area and what you qualify for, especially if you’ll answer surveys.

How Using Lootup Works

It all sounds great, but how does Lootup work? In other words, what must you do to get paid?

The process is simple.

  • Sign up for a free Lootup account
  • Choose your paid tasks, such as answering surveys, completing offers, shopping online, or watching videos
  • Earn points instantly
  • Redeem rewards for PayPal cash, prepaid Visa, Amazon cash, or BitPay cryptocurrency

Keep in mind, like most get-paid-to sites, the tasks are usually menial, taking only a few seconds. The largest ‘task’ on the platform is shopping online, but it’s relatively new for Lootup, so there may not be many opportunities yet.

The best way to make money on it is by answering surveys, watching videos, and taking advantage of offers. If you do this while watching TV or waiting at the doctor’s office, you won’t mind if you only make $1 or less for the task, as it’s something to do to pass the time.

The Lootup Points System

Lootup pays members in points for tasks completed. Each point is worth $0.001, and it takes 1,000 points to equal $1. You can redeem your earnings with gift cards or PayPal payouts. BitPay payments require a minimum balance of $5.10.

When you sign up, you can earn points immediately by completing your profile, verifying your email, and entering a giveaway. Every day there are new opportunities, and you may also have chances to earn free points with the following:

  • Spin the wheel and earn up to 500 free points
  • Enter free giveaways
  • Allow push notifications and get alerts for promo codes for free points
  • Refer friends to receive 15% of their lifetime earnings

LevelUP Rewards

Lootup has recently launched a new leveling-up rewards system, LevelUP Rewards.

To make your time spent on Lootup more rewarding, as you earn cash rewards by completing surveys, playing games, watching videos, etc, you will cross earning thresholds, making you LevelUP and increase your earnings.

You can easily keep track of when you will level up by using the new LevelUP Rewards tracker that you can find on the ‘earn’ page of your account.

Is Lootup Legit?

It’s always a good idea to be weary of get-paid-to-sites to ensure you aren’t being scammed.

Lootup, however, is legit. Lootup has 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google Play with 18,000+ reviews.

Of course, like any get-paid-to-site, there are negative reviews. Some people claim the app glitches too much, and others complain that the app is only available on the Google Play store.

However, there are just as many positive reviews.

Will Lootup Pay Off?

It’s not a good idea to rely on the income from get-paid-to sites, no matter how much they promise to pay. However, if you use your time wisely and take advantage of offers and surveys on Lootup, you’ll be rewarded for your time.

Trusting Lootup Reviews

While I love the reviews on Google Play, I always check TrustPilot, too, so I completely understand what people think of the apps I review.

Lootup has a TrustPilot score of 4.5 stars out of 5, with many 5-star happy reviews. Again, some people leave negative reviews, but I’ve noticed that Lootup customer service almost instantly responds to the issue and tries to make it right with the member. In addition, they have 24/7 customer support, so you have a good chance of having your questions answered any time of day.

How Lootup Pays

Getting paid is what it’s all about with get-paid-to sites, right? You exchange your free time for a chance to make money, even if it’s pocket change for now. However, if you dedicate your free time to the app and are strategic about your chosen tasks, you’ll find that you can cash out for gift cards, PayPal, or crypto sooner than you thought.

PayPal, Crypto, and Gift Cards

My favorite way to cash out on Lootup is PayPal. You can cash out when you have $1, but waiting until you earn more is best. You can spend the money on your own, whether on PayPal or transferring it to your bank account. Lootup doesn’t charge any fees.

Gift cards are another great way to use your Lootup earnings. Like cashing out with PayPal, there aren’t any fees, so you can enjoy your total earnings and shop guilt-free.

The final option is to cash out with cryptocurrency (BitPay). As I said earlier, you’ll need at least $5.10 to cash out, and they charge a 1% fee for this redemption option, so use it with caution.

Cashing Out

You’ll usually receive your PayPal or gift cards within two business days when you redeem your points. BitPay redemptions take a little longer, sometimes as long as five days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Earning Potential

Like most get-paid-to-sites, you aren’t going to pay your bills with the earnings on Lootup.

On average, surveys pay 50 to 300 points, and most other tasks pay around the same amount.

Many say the surveys are a bit time-consuming, so you may be better off earning points by watching videos, playing games, accepting offers, and shopping online.

Lootup Mobile Compatability

Lootup is currently only on Google Play; however, if you have an iOS device, you can access it on your mobile web browser.

The site is mobile-optimized, so it should be as easy to use on your phone as on your PC.

How to Earn With Lootup

So the big question is, what do the task options look like on Lootup?

Here are the top ways.

1. Complete Various Types of Offers

Lootup provides a wide variety of offers, which can be anything from installing an app and playing a game, discovering new products and services, or even making purchases or taking part in free trial offers.

Pay close attention to the offer descriptions provided by Lootup, as they will let you know what needs to be done in order for you to receive credit for completing an offer!

2. Answer Paid Surveys

Lootup has a robust survey technology, where when a user completes their market research profile, Lootup matches and provides direct survey inventory to them.

A user will never be asked to sign up to another site to complete surveys and get rewarded.

Like most survey sites, you must first qualify, which means taking a screener.

With paid surveys, it’s all in the numbers. So the more surveys you try, the higher your chances are of earning points.

3. Weekly and Monthly Contests

Lootup’s weekly and monthly contests provide more opportunities to earn points. In addition, their contests are a way to motivate members to accept more offers, take more surveys, watch more videos, and shop online.

The members with the highest points win either contest.

Each week they run a contest from Monday at 12:01 AM CST to Sunday at 11:59 PM CST. The weekly contest has a points pool of 100,000 points; winners can receive up to 15,000 points each.

The monthly contest runs from 12:01 AM CST on the first of the month through 11:59 PM CST on the last day of the month. The monthly prize pool has 1,000,000 points; winners can receive up to 100,000 points each.

4. Participate in Referral Programs

Refer friends and family to Lootup and get paid for it! Share your unique link with them, and for each person, you refer, you’ll earn 15% of their lifetime earnings.

In addition, you can join the monthly referrals contest with a prize pool of 2,000,000 points. Winners are eligible for up to 300,000 points each.

To compete in the referral contest, you’ll receive points for each referral based on their country. So, for example, if you refer people from the United States, you’ll earn 50 points per referral. But if you refer someone from Belgium or Denmark, you’ll earn 25 points per referral.

5. Watch Videos on Partner Sites

Lootup also pays members to watch videos, but what they’re really paying you to do is watch ads. There are ads strategically placed before, during, and after the video. You must watch all ads to get credit for your time.

Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to sit with your undivided attention on the video; however, you must have it open in an active tab. If you switch to another tab, the video stops playing.

6. Play – Spin to Win

Lootup offers the chance to win up to 500 points daily or a 50% earnings boost on your points earned for the next 24 hours. All you have to do is spin the wheel daily for a chance to win.

7. Look for Giveaways

Lootup runs free giveaways weekly and contests each month where they pay more than $5,000/month.

Giveaways are publicly available to view on the site at any time, check them out here. It’s free to enter, and you might win free points.

8. Lootup Deal Finder

With Lootup Deal Finder, you save money shopping online for your favorite brands. It’s pretty easy to use as well making saving easier than ever.

  • Install and activate the Lootup Deal Finder on your Chrome browser and you will immediately start receiving discount codes while you shop online.
  • You can create a Lootup account to activate your cash back earnings and your cash back savings will automatically be credited to your account.
  • You can easily access coupon codes and cash back deals from over 50,000 brands online.
  • Once you receive your cash back rewards, you can redeem them through your Lootup account for Gift Cards, PayPal cash, or cryptocurrency via BitPay.

9. Sign-Up Bonus With Lootup

Lootup currently offers a $5 (5,000 points) sign-up bonus when you earn your first 10,000 points. This must occur within the first 30 days of signing up, so take advantage of as many opportunities as possible, including creating your profile and verifying your email.

Who Lootup Is Available To

Lootup is available to all users 18+ worldwide. Signing up takes only a few seconds, and they’ll tell you immediately if you aren’t eligible.

Customer Service

Lootup customer service is available 24/7, which is something you don’t find with most get-paid-to sites. So while you might not have a lot of reasons to call them, it’s nice knowing the support is available.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Referral Program
  • Low $1 Cashout Threshold
  • Variety of Earning Opportunities

  • Mobile App only for Google Play

Games That Pay Instantly to Cash App

The post Games That Pay Instantly to Cash App appeared first on Millennial Money.

You’ve just aced level 83 of your favorite new game. And you’re ready to claim that juicy $125 cash payout. But hold up. As with most cash-paying game apps, you need to request payment as a gift card.

Now it’s a several-day wait until those funds are delivered to your inbox. But if you want those funds in your Cash App wallet or bank account, you may be out of luck — many rewards apps only offer gift cards to redeem your earnings.

Luckily there are some fun games that pay instantly to Cash App that we love, making it easy to earn free money.

11 Games That Pay Instantly to Cash App

Here are some fun games that pay instantly to Cash App that you can download and start playing today:

  1. Solitaire Cube
  2. Dominoes Gold
  3. Bubble Cash
  4. Cash’em All
  5. Cashyy
  6. Mistplay
  7. 21 Blitz
  8. Spades Blitz
  9. MyPoints
  10. Swagbucks
  11. InboxDollars

1. Solitaire Cube

  • Apple iOS: 2.9 /
  • Google Play: 4.6

solitaire cube

Solitaire Cube is a competitive, modern spin on the classic, solo-player card game. You probably won’t hit a major jackpot, but winning smaller prize games for a $3 to $10 reward is completely reasonable.

Battle it out for cash with other players from around the globe in a head-to-head match. In order to ensure fair gameplay, you are both given the same starting layout of cards.

Win points by making sequences and clearing your stack. You can also earn bonus points for speed. At the end of the match, the player with the highest score wins.

You can also play free games offered as practice rounds. Android and iOS players love this game app.

2. Dominoes Gold

  • Apple iOS: 4.7 /
  • Galaxy Store: 4.5

dominoes gold

The Dominoes Gold app puts a digital modern spin on an old-school classic. Play free games or cash competitions, with the potential of winning a cash prize worth up to $7,500.

You can choose to play head-to-head matches or in bracket tournaments of up to four players.

Dominoes Gold does offer ultra-high top prizes, but your odds of pocketing a massive reward (i.e, over $500) are very slim. Realistically, most players can win around $3 to $10 a go when they sit down to play a few cash rounds.

3. Bubble Cash

  • Apple iOS: 4.6

bubble cash

Bubble Cash is a fun, strategy game where you can win cash and gift cards for shooting down bubbles. You can win prizes of up to $60 if you’re a skilled bubble burster.

Play free, practice rounds to get the feel for the game. When you’re ready, advance to cash tournament-style play.

For fairness, players are grouped together in brackets based on their skill. The top three finishers win a cash prize, with the third-place finisher essentially winning back their wager to break even.

The more you wager, the more you stand to win. Play in tournaments with cash prizes ranging from $1 to $60.

4. Cash’em All

  • Google Play: 4.4

cash'em all

50 million app store downloads mean they must be onto something good. Cash’em All is a gift card rewards app that connects you with fun games from today’s top developers.

Similar to the popular app Kashkick, you can earn free gift cards for playing free games in the Cash’em All app. Explore the catalog of free games and download and play the ones that fit your interests.

Cash’em All tracks how many minutes you spend playing any of their featured games, and as you play you’ll earn virtual prize coins.

5. Cashyy

  • Google Play: 4.4

cashyy

With 5 million app downloads in the Google Play Store, Cashyy is a massively fun and popular way to earn extra cash from your phone.

Cashyy itself is not one single game, rather it connects you to multiple different games that you can play to earn rewards. It’s similar to other game-focused cash apps like Gamehag.

Look for games you love, and then sign up to accept and accomplish missions. You’ll earn virtual gold coins for completing the missions (playing), and discover lots of new favorite games in the process.

It takes about 20,000 cash coins to cash out (the equivalent of 20 cents). If you play every day on your phone, you could realistically make $8 to $15 every month playing games on Cashyy.

This may not sound like much but consider that most games don’t pay you anything. If you’re going to game anyway, why not earn an extra $100 to $150 a year — or more — for your time and effort?

6. Mistplay

  • Google Play: 4.0

mistplay win real money game app

Make up to $50 a month discovering and playing fun, new games on Mistplay. This popular app has over 10 million downloads in the Google Play Store.

Similar to the well-known QuickReward app, on Mistplay you can earn extra money for trying new games and offers that fit your interests.

Mistplay connects you with a vast catalog of fun cash apps games like Blackout Bingo, Wheel of Fortune, Pool Payday, Solitaire Cash, and Brain Battle.

Earn units as you go for playing these free, featured games on your mobile device. Then redeem your units for free PayPal cash and Amazon gift cards.

You won’t make money fast at Mistplay — player reviews suggest $25 to $100 is the max you might earn in a month — but Mistplay definitely does pay real money.

7. 21 Blitz

  • Apple iOS: 4.6 /
  • Google Play: 4.0

21 blitz

Earn $83 free cash in two minutes playing 21 Blitz.

21 Blitz is a fun game that blends together the excitement of Blackjack and the familiar, old-school fun of Solitaire. Win real money in head-to-head matches and in cash tournaments.

Winning $83 every two minutes is not sustainable. You can’t do this for one hour straight to make $2,490. In fact, it’s probably not realistic to win $83 for more than a few matches in a row, and you will need to pay an upfront wager. But many players can and do win that aspirational amount.

If you’re not familiar with Blackjack or Solitaire, you can play some free, practice games to get your bearings. When you’re cash gameplay ready, you can enter head-to-head matches that pay $1 to $83. And there are even huge, multiplayer tournaments for larger prizes.

8. Spades Blitz

  • Apple iOS: 4.6 /
  • Galaxy Store: 4.5

spades blitz

Spade Blitz is a fun, fast-paced game that will pay you up to $25 per game win.

Based on the popular, trick-taking card game, Spade Blitz gives you the chance to win real money and prizes for playing in head-to-head matches, multiplayer tournaments, and leagues.

There are no in-app ads, but you do have the option to watch videos every hour in order to earn free extra chips.

New players can win $1 to $5 per game in smaller cash prize pools. As you gain experience, you can unlock player leagues and tournaments with larger prizes.

One gamer review said you could potentially make up to $30 per week as a new player.

9. MyPoints

  • Apple iOS: 4.3 /
  • Google Play: 3.4

MyPoints is a shopping-based rewards app, but it also offers members other ways to earn cash like answering online surveys, searching the web, and playing games.

Similar to Mistplay or Qmee, you can earn points from MyPoints for trying new games featured in the MyPoints app or website.

Featured games can pay points worth the equivalent of 25 cents to $100 – or even more. The higher the reward, the more steps are involved in achieving it.

For example, for a $100 payout, you might have to install the free game and log in and play a certain number of times over the next 30 days.

Redeem your points for free gift cards or PayPal cash.

10. Swagbucks

  • Apple iOS: 4.4 /
  • Google Play: 4.2

Swagbucks offers its users a number of ways to get money by completing various activities in their mobile app or on the Swagbucks.com website, including taking surveys, searching the web, or shopping at featured cashback retailers.

With Swagbucks trivia games, you could earn up to $15 a month.

Play live trivia games every weekday, competing with players from around the globe for a shot at a cash prize worth up to $1,000. The prize is split among all winners who answer all 10 trivia questions correctly. Your typical share of winnings can range from 25 to 50 SB (or 25 to 50 cents).

You can also play one other trivia game per day at any time — not a live match — and earn up to 10 cents. These non-live rounds feature 10 questions from previous live game shows.

Trivia rewards are earned in SB, Swagbucks’ virtual point currency. Cash out SB for free PayPal cash, gift cards, or Bitcoin.

11. InboxDollars

  • Apple iOS: 4.5 /
  • Google Play: 4.0

InboxDollars is a free reward site and app that will pay you real cash rewards for playing games.

InboxDollars offers around a dozen, arcade-style games that you can play on the desktop or mobile website. You can also play these featured games in the Android app.

You’ll win free scratch cards for playing games. Scratch your virtual card to reveal a prize worth up to $10, $25, or $100 depending on which tier you choose to unlock. Rewards can range from a couple of cents to $100.

In addition to games, other ways to earn money online with InboxDollars include paid surveys, cashback shopping, daily polls, and other online activities related to mobile games and personal finance.

InboxDollars also has a generous referral program. Earn a cash bonus upfront for every friend you invite, and then earn 30% of their qualified earnings for life. As long as you and your friend both remain active members, you will keep getting a 30% cut of your friend’s earnings.

Cash out your InboxDollars rewards with a gift card to a popular store of your choice, a prepaid credit card, or a deposit made directly to your PayPal account.

Join InboxDollars now and get a free sign-up of $5.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you receive money from games on Cash App?

Here’s how you get money from these games into your Cash App wallet.

For featured Skillz games on this list, including Solitaire Cube or 21 Blitz, your winnings are paid directly to Cash app – or however you fund your game wagers.

If you funded your game account with a Visa card, then that is where your winnings will be applied. If you used your Cash App wallet, then any money you win from these games will be paid to your Cash App account.

How do you get cash into Cash App for games that pay winnings to PayPal?

Many gaming apps will not pay cash directly to Cash App; instead, they offer PayPal rewards which you can easily and freely transfer to your Cash App wallet.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Cash out your game prize earnings to your PayPal account. (If you don’t have one, you can open a PayPal account in 60 seconds.)
  2. Link your Cash App wallet to PayPal.
  3. Send the money to Cash App in a couple of clicks.

It’s that easy. You’ll find that most cash games and rewards apps pay via PayPal, so it’s worth taking a minute to link your Cash App wallet to a PayPal account.

PayPal funds can be sent to Cash App or anywhere else you want to transfer them, like to your bank debit card or Apple Pay.

Should You Play Games that Pay Instantly to Cash App?

You don’t have to be a hardcore gamer to see the benefit of playing games that pay instantly to Cash App, PayPal, or even your bank account.

Because if you ever spend time online — and obviously you do, or you wouldn’t be reading this article — you know that you’ve gone down the rabbit hole of exploring (wasting time on) all types of games. Whether you were just browsing the underbelly of the Internet, or combing through the millions of app listings in iTunes or Google Play, you’re already a part of the gaming world.

From Boggle to Call of Duty — whatever the preferred game — there’s almost certainly a cash game version of it online where you can win real money.

And if after reading this article you still don’t know where to get started, check out this list of trusted games that really pay, or ask your friends and family what they’re into these days.

How to Make Money on Fiverr

The post How to Make Money on Fiverr appeared first on Millennial Money.

Freelancing online is a popular way to make money, but if you don’t know where to advertise your services, you may feel lost. Fiverr is a popular marketplace for freelancers to find clients and make money working for themselves.

Continue reading to find out how you can start making money on Fiverr today.

What Is Fiverr?

Fiverr is an online marketplace for sellers to create ‘gigs’ or digital services they can market to buyers worldwide.

The platform started on the premise that sellers would charge $5 for each gig, however, Fiverr gigs now go from $5 to hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

How Does Fiverr Work?

Sellers can create gigs within three categories – Basic, Standard, and Premium. You choose the difference between the tiers, but typically Basic is the introductory package to your services and costs the least. Then, Standard and Premium services can build on what your Basic package offers at higher price points.

You can also offer extra services for an additional fee, and depending on your seller level, you can create custom offers to tailor your services to buyers’ needs.

To advertise your services, you must have a written description. You can also upload a video describing your services and create a portfolio for potential buyers to see your work. If you have the skills, you can create a gig on Fiverr and market your services to your target audience. Like the major search engines, you must create a listing with keywords so buyers interested in your services find you.

All communication, payment, and delivery of the services go through Fiverr. Buyers and sellers cannot communicate outside Fiverr, so you can’t exchange emails or phone numbers. When a buyer buys a gig, the payment goes to Fiverr. They hold onto the funds until 14 days after the date you deliver the work. This gives the buyer time to review the work, request revisions, or accept the work as-is.

Once cleared, Fiverr allows you to withdraw the funds via PayPal or Direct Deposit and sends them instantly upon request.

How Much Does Fiverr Cost?

It’s free to sign up for a Fiverr account. It’s also free to create your gigs and advertise them. When you sell a gig and complete the work, Fiverr takes 20% of the amount earned.

For example, if you designed a website for $150, you’d walk away with $120. Fiverr keeps its cut to cover the platform’s cost, including all administrative and advertising services.

13 Ways to Make Money on Fiverr

Here are some of the top ways to make money on Fiverr:

1. Copywriting

Freelance writing can be a lucrative gig if you have a way with words and know what brands need for their advertising needs. Copywriters can charge a lot for their services, especially if they can prove they have a great conversion rate.

As a copywriter, you might write content for blogs, flyers, brochures, or landing pages. Your job is to help the brand create its voice with your written content.

2. Editing

Even professional writers need editors to review their work. As a freelance editor on Fiverr, you may edit e-books, white papers, and blog posts. You may also edit copywriting, such as brochures and landing pages.

Editors ensure all the content contains proper grammar and flows well. You may also consider adding SEO services to your gigs to make more money. This can help buyers ensure their content includes the right information to rank in search engines.

3. Graphic Design

Graphic design was one of the first gigs offered on Fiverr and is one of the most popular categories today. Large and small business owners need logos and designs for their marketing material. This may include websites, printed materials, and social media platforms.

Some items you may design as a graphic designer on Fiverr include:

  • Clothing
  • Accessories
  • Websites
  • Banners
  • Business cards
  • Social media banners

4. Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants are administrative assistants that work remotely. You choose the services you offer and should consider categorizing them to reach the right audience.

Common tasks a virtual assistant offers include:

  • Data entry
  • Research
  • Email management
  • Social media management
  • Photo editing
  • Website management
  • Content writing

5. Web Development

Web development is one of the highest-paying gigs on Fiverr because all businesses need a website, and most owners aren’t qualified to create them. You might create websites for a small one-person business or a large business with multiple locations and larger needs.

Advertise your gigs to represent the work you’ll offer at each level, and there’s plenty of opportunity for add-ons with these services.

6. Create Artwork

Artists can offer various services on Fiverr, such as designing book covers, game covers, illustrations for a brand, art for clothing, wall decor, or digital art for buyers to print and use. The sky’s the limit to your creativity.

If you aren’t sure what buyers want the most on the Fiverr marketplace regarding artistry, browse the platform and see what others offer. Find a void you can fill or figure out how to stand apart from the competition.

7. HR Consulting

If you work in HR and consider yourself an expert, you may offer HR consulting services on Fiverr. Of course, base your services on your expertise, but some common consulting gigs include job coaching, creating employee handbooks, developing interview processes, and recruiting.

8. Social Media Management

Social media is necessary for all businesses, but not all business owners have time to manage it. If you have experience managing and growing social media pages, you can offer your services on Fiverr.

As a social media manager, you can offer to completely manage and post the client’s social media content; only create the content and let them publish it, or act as a consultant, advising businesses on improving their social media presence.

9. Music and Audio

If you have a background in music, the sky’s the limit with the gigs you can offer. Some of the most popular music and audio gigs include:

  • Creating background music for videos and anime
  • Music producer
  • Create music for YouTube videos
  • Create cinematic music
  • Music promotion

10. Online Marketing

If you have marketing experience, you can offer online marketing services to help brands sell more. Depending on your experience, your gigs may include the following:

  • SEO research
  • Creating a marketing strategy
  • Email newsletter management
  • Marketing assessment and transformation

For example, you may help a company revamp its website or blogs with proper keywords and branding techniques; create and manage an email newsletter, or evaluate a company’s entire marketing plan and consult with them on how they can improve it.

If you act as a consultant, you can offer add-on services to implement your suggestions to increase your earnings.

11. Influencer Marketing

There are a couple of ways to sell influencer marketing gigs on Fiverr. The traditional way is to leverage your extensive social media audience for your Fiverr gigs. Your services would offer buyers the chance for you to promote their product or service to your audience.

Another way to use influencer marketing gigs is to research, contact, and negotiate with social media influencers for brands. You’d work as the middle-man, doing the work for the brand and finding the best places to advertise their companies on social media.

12. Translation Services

If you are fluent in a language other than English, you can make money in several ways on Fiverr. First, decide how you want to offer your services.

For example, do you want to offer real-time support, such as a live phone call, or would you prefer to translate documents? You could also offer services teaching the language you speak.

13. Video and Animation

Video is becoming even more popular than written content, so the demand for video and animation is high. As a Fiverr seller, you can create gigs to create or edit videos, produce advertisements, or create how-to videos.

In addition, you can use real people, graphics, or the increasingly popular method – animation to create popular videos.

How to Sign Up for Fiverr

To sign up as a seller for Fiverr, you must first create an account. By default, Fiverr creates all new accounts as buyers. To do this, click ‘Join,’ and enter your email and created password. Fiverr will send a verification email that, once you verify, you activate your Fiverr account.

To become a seller, click on your profile picture and select ‘Become a Seller’ from the dropdown box. Fiverr next requires you to watch three videos on being a Fiverr seller and read their top tips on becoming a Fiverr seller.

Continue completing the information as prompted and link your social media pages if you desire. After completing this information, you can create your first gig.

Fiverr Job Categories

Fiverr has more than 200 job categories that cover almost any skill you might have. Also, within each category are multiple job options. For example, the website design category might include coding, website layout, and graphic design gigs. You can offer all three or specialize in one category. You could also use the package feature to offer one service in the Basic gig and build on it with the Standard and Premium options.

Levels for Sellers

Fiverr has three levels all sellers can achieve, plus a Fiverr Pro option. Fiverr reassesses your levels monthly and bases them on seller satisfaction, on-time delivery, and fast responses to buyers’ messages.

You must also meet the same rating requirements as a Level 2 seller.

As a top-rated seller, you can:

  • Have up to 30 gigs
  • Have up to 6 extra services
  • Offer custom offers
  • Have VIP customer support
  • Withdraw funds after 7 days

Fiverr Pro

Fiverr Pro is for business professionals with a proven history and portfolio. It’s an application process, and Fiverr doesn’t approve all applications. This premium marketplace works with some of the world’s largest businesses and brands, so Fiverr is selective about which sellers they allow on the platform.

Fiverr Tips for Freelancers

With close to 3 million sellers on Fiverr, it’s important to know how to stand out because there is plenty of competition on the site.

5-Star Service

Like any business, your ratings significantly affect how much business you get. So it makes your services sound more appealing when you have 5-star ratings. It also helps your ranking and search engine visibility.

Go above and beyond to give your buyers the highest level of customer service. Correspond with them immediately when they message you, keep them in the loop when you’re working on their project, and always deliver the promised work.

Create a Portfolio

Words and videos are great, but the real proof is in the type of work you offer, so if you offer the kind of services that you can share the work you’ve done, create a portfolio in your profile for potential buyers to review.

Seeing the work before ordering can be what buyers need to choose your service over a seller who doesn’t have a portfolio because there’s less risk when you can see the work offered.

Create More Gigs

Depending on your Fiverr level, you can create 7 to 30 gigs. When you start your gigs, 7 will feel like plenty, but as you grow, you might think of more ways you can help your niche audience, or you may want to grow into another audience.

The more gigs you have, the more chances you have of creating more business. Ensure you can provide top-notch service for every gig; don’t overwhelm yourself, or you might hurt yourself by spreading yourself too thin.

Eyecatching Profile

Your profile must be eye-catching to stand out from the hundreds of thousands of others offering the same services. Use keywords that will attract the right audience in your profile, and use persuasive writing to draw them in to learn more.

In your profile, include a professional business picture; if you’re up for it, create a personalized video. This brings a more personal touch to the process since you aren’t meeting in person or even talking on the phone. Your video gives buyers a chance to know you and why they should trust you for their services.

Gather Referrals

Consider asking for referrals when you build a basic clientele and provide them with five-star service. This is a great way to build your business on top of keyword use, creating a captive profile, and uploading a portfolio.

The more people your clients send to your Fiverr profile, the higher your chances are of making more money. You can even offer your clients an incentive, such as a 5% discount on their next order if they refer clients to you.

Optimize Your Gigs and Profile

Optimizing your gigs and profile helps your listing show up in the searches. Research the keywords buyers use for the gigs you offer and include them in your description, gig listings, and titles.

Promote Your Business

Fiverr does a great job of advertising and bringing in millions of buyers, but that doesn’t mean you can’t promote your gigs too. You can use social media and email marketing to bring in more clients and stay fresh in the minds of existing clients. Just make sure your links lead directly to your Fiverr gigs.

Upsell

Find ways to upsell your services. For example, you might offer something basic, such as logo design, but can offer extras to make more money, such as multiple versions of the logo or the same logo for other formats.

Find as many ways to add tiers to your package offerings (3 max) plus more add-ons to those services for a set price.

Utilize the Fiverr App

The Fiverr app is essential when running gigs on Fiverr. Your rating depends on how quickly you respond to inquiries in your messages and the gigs themselves. Using the app, you can be alerted and have the capability to respond on the go and not risk your ratings.

Pricing Your Gigs

You can choose a single or packaged gig to price your gigs. A single gig has one price, but you can offer add-ons too. A package gig has three options – Basic, Standard, and Premium, each of which should build on the other, giving your buyers options. Of course, you can offer add-ons to packages too.

Pros and Cons of Fiverr

Fiverr offers many options for sellers to market their gigs and make money, but some downsides exist.

Pros

  • You are the boss – You completely control what gigs you offer, your turnaround time, and what you charge. Fiverr is the platform to help market your services, but you can change the parameters as many times as necessary to fit your schedule and needs.
  • You may earn tips – Even though you set prices for your gigs, buyers can tip you if you provide five-star service. This increases your earnings even further.
  • Access to more clients – Fiverr provides access to clients worldwide that you might not have access to without the platform. It may help you increase your customer base and earnings faster than working on your own.
  • Guaranteed payment – Buyers must pay upfront for the services, but Fiverr holds the funds until you complete the job. There is a clearance waiting period, but you know you’ll get paid and won’t get stiffed by clients.

Cons

  • A lot of competition – There is a lot of competition on Fiverr. Some of the competition may offer services well below the market rate. This can hurt your chances of earning the business even if you do a better job.
  • Fiverr costs – Fiverr keeps 20% of the earnings, so you must price your gigs accordingly to make as much as you think you’re worth after the fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Fiverr legit?

Fiverr is legit. All communication, payment, and work delivery go through the platform. Fiverr guarantees payments for sellers; however, they don’t guarantee any payments for work you do outside the platform, even if the work originated there. So always keep your work in the platform to ensure payment.

Is Fiverr worth it?

If you have services to offer and don’t have time to market yourself, Fiverr is worth it. Yes, you pay a high fee, but you’d pay marketing costs plus the cost of your time to handle the marketing yourself.

How much can you make on Fiverr?

Some people make six figures on Fiverr, but they are in the top 1% of Fiverr earners. The average freelancer makes $500 to $1,000 a month on Fiverr, but you’re in control of how much you make.

Is Fiverr free?

It’s free to sign up and set up gigs on Fiverr. However, Fiverr keeps 20% of your earnings for each job if you sell a gig.

Fiverr vs. Upwork: Which is better?

Upwork is Fiverr’s main competitor and ranks higher than Fiverr, but they work differently. Rather than buyers coming to you as they do on Fiverr, they post a job and interested sellers ‘bid’ for the job. Buyers then review the qualifications of each seller and potentially interview them to choose the right one for the job. Upwork also keeps 20% of the fees earned, but they charge sellers for each bid they make.

How does the Fiverr search algorithm work?

The Fiverr search algorithm is similar to any other search engine. It’s based on the keywords used and your reviews and conversion rate. The algorithm often changes, as do the results, so it’s best to stay on top of your keywords, reviews, and conversion rates.
