How to Make $300 a Day

The post How to Make $300 a Day appeared first on Millennial Money.

As a born side hustler, I can tell you there are plenty of ways to make $300 a day (or more) – whether it’s through one full-time gig or multiple side hustles.

There are also earning activities that pay only pennies, and some outright scams to avoid.

I have found dozens of legit side hustles — sustainable ways (not just one-and-done gigs) that you can do to make money every single day. For most of these opportunities, there’s no college degree or special license required – anyone can get in the game. So, let’s get started!

11 Legitimate Ways to Make $300 a Day

1. Blogging

While you will need to put in a significant amount of work upfront, blogging can be an outstanding, incredibly lucrative way to make money.

You don’t need to be a published writer to get started, or even be an English major or have a background in communications. You just need to have the motivation to get started and the hardiness to stay the course. It can take several months for you to mint a lot of content (a couple of dozen articles or more) and start to pick up traction. (Gain web views and subscribers.)

Ideally, you should really like writing. A lot. And then you can pick a topic you’d like to write about. You don’t have to blog about your life (in a mommy diary-type confessional). You can blog about camping, pets, kids, sports, celebrity gossip, fashion, technology, cryptocurrency, or anything you’re passionate about.

Picking a topic you love will help you stay motivated and stick with it. Ideally, you should look for a topic that can also generate a lot of revenue. Lucrative blog topics commonly include technology, personal finance (making money, saving money, investing money), health and wellness, travel, cooking, or lifestyle.

How To Make $300 a Day Blogging

There are many different ways you can monetize your blog, including:

  • Sponsored posts (articles or post content that brands pay you to publish)
  • Banner ads (i.e., Google AdSense, Adthrive, or Mediavine)
  • Product or service reviews (where you are given a free sample and also paid to write a review)
  • Sell downloadable assets (i.e., budget planners, infographics)
  • Sell eBooks. Aggregate your best blog articles and publish them in an eBook)
  • Direct affiliate programs. Get affiliate links to earn a commission when readers purchase products you recommend.
  • Affiliate networks. Similar to a direct affiliate program, but here you are not working directly with the brand. You join a network that connects you to thousands of merchants that will offer you a commission for recommending their products. The affiliate network takes a cut as their commission.

Overall, blogging is a fun, flexible, and highly scalable way to earn money.

It can take several months to a year before your blog starts to make any real money (i.e., at least a few hundred dollars a month). But as you grow your audience and you become more experienced, it is possible to make over $30K a month or even more from your blog.

I started out with just one blog myself, and over time it’s grown into a larger media company that includes multiple blog sites, YouTube channels, and podcasts.

2. Freelance Writing

Freelance writing, beyond blogging, is another outstanding way to earn at least $300 a day. The amount of money you can make as a freelance writer depends on your level of experience and portfolio of work. There are some freelance writers who make $2 or more per written word. Others may be paid by the hour or by the article, with different rates based on a short, medium, or long-form piece of content.

If you could write three short articles per day, each one for $100, you could reach your daily goal of $300.

You can be a total beginner at freelance writing when you get started. Your first task is to build up your portfolio with at least 5-6 different works and then to build connections. Reach out to friends and family and their broader circle.

Here are a few examples of ways to make money freelance writing.

  • Case studies
  • White papers (or whitepapers)
  • One-sheeters
  • Sales reports
  • Business presentation decks
  • Landing pages
  • eCommerce product descriptions
  • Email copy
  • Help or support articles
  • Other web page content
  • Social posts
  • Video scripts
  • Ad copy
  • Brand guidelines

Figure out the kind of writing that is most in demand that aligns with the kind of writing you want to do. Then, create some works to showcase your ability.

Starting your own blog can also be helpful as it’s another platform to put your content on display.

You’ll need to set your rates low as you get started, but as you build experience and your list of clients, you can increase your fees over time. Eventually, you can even hire writers yourself to help you grow your business.

3. Flipping Items Online

Flipping goods online is a truly lucrative side hustle. It’s perfect for people who enjoy the thrill of bargain hunting and finding an absolute steal.

There are many popular items that you can cheaply buy and then flip for a profit, from pots and pans to antique toys. The best things to flip are things that take up a lot of storage and can be easily shipped.

Designer clothes, small vintage goods, handbags, sports equipment, camping gear, and toys are popular items that resell well in used condition.

You can find used (or sometimes new) goods to flip for a profit at garage sales, thrift stores, flea markets, rummage sales, Craigslist, or on Facebook Marketplace. I regularly find designer or vintage items on Facebook Marketplace at a fraction of what they sell for on eBay, Etsy, Facebook buy-sell-trade groups (distinct from Marketplace), or in resale apps.

I’ve also found a number of free items listed on Facebook Marketplace. People value what they pay for. Items listed for free can often sit idle (people figure it’s not any good if it’s free) but when it’s listed at $20, they might consider it a steal.

Flipping Facebook finds is easy to do because it requires very little money — or even no money if you comb the app for free listings.

Earnings can vary wildly, but for beginners $500 a month within a few months isn’t unreasonable. There are some flippers who make $20,000 a month (roughly $667 a day) at this pursuit.

4. Start a YouTube channel

Creating a YouTube channel is an excellent way to earn extra money. Even if you have an active TikTok presence or successful blog, YouTube is worth your while as you can expand your presence and reach new audience members who prefer this video platform.

You don’t need to have any unique skills or talents to create a YouTube channel; just a willingness to create content. You could even create a video on how to boil water. (Seriously.) No matter how obvious a skill may seem to you, someone else wants to figure out how to do it or how to explain it to someone else.

Videos can get really elaborate, but it’s usually enough to turn on the video feature of your smartphone, find a room with good lighting, and record yourself.

A tripod can help you hold the camera steady — and there are many affordable accessories you can buy — but when just starting out you can just prop the phone against something stable.

Have a plan for the type of content you want to create. It should all have a similar theme, like unboxing videos, home repair, or reviewing digital products. You don’t want to flip-flop wildly from one video to the next about unrelated topics; your channel should be consistent.

You should also post at a regular cadence, be it twice a week or twice a month. Being steady is what wins out over time — with your resources (patience and interest level) and with YouTube search algorithms.

How to Make $300 a Day on YouTube

Once you start creating and publishing videos, there are a number of ways you can make money with YouTube.

  • Paid product or service reviews
  • YouTube in-video ads
  • Affiliate marketing (earn commission from product links)
  • Sponsors
  • Subscribers (i.e., you could send a co-branded email to subscribers with affiliate links)

Some YouTube channels make thousands or millions of dollars every year, and the lure of the platform isn’t going anywhere. YouTube is incredibly popular: 72% of all U.S. consumers have a YouTube account. While just under 40% of Baby Boomers are on YouTube, 73% to 96% of all younger cohorts have active YouTube accounts. The channel enjoys peak popularity with Zoomers.

YouTube is also great for passive income. Since past videos get continual daily views, they provide a steady income stream. You do the work — of creating the video — only once, but can continue to earn money indefinitely from ads and affiliate sales.

5. Podcasting

Like starting a YouTube channel, a podcast can be an excellent way to generate passive income. You produce the podcast content (episode) once but can earn money every time someone listens to it.

To start a podcast, you just need your smartphone. But you may want to purchase a microphone to improve audio quality. (You can purchase a high-quality, podcast microphone that’s easy to set up for as cheap as $30 on Amazon.)

You can talk about any topic that you enjoy or an area where you have some know-how. After recording your show, edit out extra noises or parts you don’t want (like all the “um” sounds or any stutters), and you can add music or other special effects.

It’s best to choose a quiet place with no background noise, but some editing will always be necessary. Choosing a location free of distractions will minimize the amount of editing you need to do.

When your podcast is ready, you can upload it for free to different platforms. Some of the best platforms to get started with include:

  • Apple Podcasts
  • Spotify
  • PodBean
  • Castbox
  • Stitcher
  • Google Podcasts
  • Pocket Casts

To make money from your podcasts, you can promote affiliate offers (unique promo codes or links so you can earn a commission) or through sponsors. Lyft, HelloFresh, thredUP, and Dollar Shave Club are four very common sponsors. If you listen to podcasts commonly, you have probably heard pitches for these brands.

Depending on the size of your audience (subscribers) or total listens, you can make a substantial amount of money.

6. Freelance Gig Work

Beyond blogging and freelance writing, there are many other freelance gigs that you can pick up to earn $300 a day.

There’s a huge array of different tasks you can complete, using your skills to make money.

For online gig work, it can take time to gain traction. You’ll need to set your rates low to attract customers and play around with your job listings (so buyers can find them based on their keyword search).

For offline work — usually performed at a buyer’s house — there is typically more than enough work available. You will almost certainly need to set your rates low until you get some reviews, but many taskers on TaskRabbit and similar sites can set rates at $20 – $75 per hour for furniture assembly, yard cleanup, and other tasks that people will gladly pay to offload.

Completing these freelance tasks is a flexible, and often fun, way to earn $300 a day. And as you build up your online business, you could eventually contract work out to other taskers or freelancers.

7. Set Up an eCommerce Shop

Setting up an online eCommerce business could be a good option for those who don’t want to spend several months plodding away at a blog or podcast trying to build up traction. It still takes time and energy to create a successful online shop, but the effort is generally a lot less.

To get started, you will need to decide what you want to sell. Look for popular items that you can sell at a healthy markup and that are easy to ship.

Dropshipping

When setting up an online shop, you may not necessarily need to purchase the inventory upfront.

With a dropshipping business, you don’t need to pay for goods (or store them either). You don’t pay for the inventory until the customer pays you (making a purchase). Then, you submit the order to your wholesaler or manufacturer and you provide your customer’s address for shipment.

You may already be familiar with AliExpress and Alibaba. But beyond these supplier sites, there are a number of other excellent dropshipping suppliers like:

  • Modalyst
  • Spocket
  • Wholesale2B
  • Sunrise Wholesale Merchandise

Using a dropshipping business model can help manage — or outright eliminate — several logistical challenges.

For some dropship suppliers, you do need to pay a monthly fee starting at $35 to $40 to use their platform — but this is a sum that’s usually affordable. And if you don’t have it,  you can readily make $40+ a month through babysitting or online surveys.  At $200,000 a year, you’ll far exceed $300 a day. ($200K a year works out to just under $548 a day.)

Amazon FBA

Similar to dropshipping, many sellers find success using the Amazon FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) program. You can acquire inventory for cheap — from sources like AliExpress, and then ship the product to an Amazon fulfillment center.

Amazon will handle processing the order — taking payment, shipping the order, and any customer service. In exchange, Amazon will keep 8% to 15% as its referral fee. There may be other selling fees involved, ranging from $0.99 per unit to $39.99 a month.

The fees are more, but the benefit of using Amazon is access to its gigantic global audience.

8. Investing

You might not have the training of a Wall Street banker or access to a CPF (Certified Financial Planner) or RIA (Registered Investment Advisor), but there are many micro-investment apps that let everyday people build wealth through investing.

Popular investments include:

  • Stocks and dividends
  • Bonds
  • Mutual funds
  • ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds)
  • Real estate (including commercial assets)
  • Cryptocurrency

There are many fintech apps that offer a number of investment choices. With most of these apps, there is a generous sign-up bonus to motivate you to join — commonly ranging from $20 to $120. Additionally, new users are often given a free stock or free trade as a new-member bonus.

While your traditional bank account sees less than 1% in annual interest, investments can see annual returns of 7% to 10%.

While 7% to 10% might not seem like much, consider the following.

If you invested $1,200 a year ($100 a month) and saw a 7% annual return of interest, at the end of 10 years you would have $17,740.32. By earning interest off your interest — compound interest — your money would make you $5,740.32.

By contrast, if you put the same funds in a bank savings account with a 1% annual interest rate (which would be on the very high side), you would have $12,680.20 at the end of 10 years. You would have made only $680.20 in interest — more than $5,000 less than what an investment account would have grown to.

INVESTMENT AND INSURANCE PRODUCTS ARE: NOT A DEPOSIT • NOT FDIC INSURED • NO BANK GUARANTEE • MAY LOSE VALUE

9. Virtual Assistant

With people increasingly working from home — and finding themselves busier than ever, there is a major demand for virtual assistants.

Virtual assistants complete many of the same tasks an office administrative assistant, secretary, or personal assistant might do. And depending on your skills, you could make $10 to $50 an hour – or even more.

To work as a virtual assistant, there isn’t a special degree or certification that you need. But common requirements or skills that employers look for may include:

  • Fast, accurate typing skills
  • Professional phone demeanor
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent follow-through
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Proficient in common office software and communication programs

Virtual assistant work is flexible in terms of location, but you may be required to work certain core hours that align with when your boss conducts business.

You probably won’t start out making $50 an hour. But as you build your experience and your client roster, you’ll inch closer and closer. You don’t need to lock yourself into just one client. Many virtual assistants have several clients whom they assist.

10. Rent Out Your Belongings

Admit it. Tucked away at the back of your garage or in a spare room closet, you’ve probably got plenty of stuff you’re not using (enough). Why not cash in on these belongings by renting them out to other people who just need them for a one-time event?

You’ll make more money renting than if you tried to sell them on Poshmark or Facebook. And these might be goods that you will use again — you just don’t use them that frequently.

Think about things you don’t use a lot of that other people need. Maybe you have an extra car that you barely drive. Some cars can rent for as much as $200 a day, especially if you have a cargo van, pickup truck, or other in-demand vehicle.

Beyond automobiles, other goods you can rent include:

  • Baby gear (strollers, cribs, high chairs, etc.) — perfect for grandparents who have baby gear at their house that only gets used 2-3x a year when the grandkids visit
  • RV or motorhome
  • Trailers
  • Dinner hosting or party supplies
  • Sports equipment
  • Camping gear
  • Drones
  • Cameras and accessories (tripods, lenses, etc.)
  • Pet supplies (beds, pet gates, etc.)
  • Musical instruments
  • Gardening supplies
  • Spare bedroom or closet (rent out your extra square footage as storage)

There are many popular apps and platforms you can use to list and rent out your gear. Neighbor (the Airbnb of extra storage space), SpotHero (rent out your parking space), Fat Llama, Idle – Rent Anything, or Loanables are some great options to check out.

11. Make Deliveries

If you’ve got a car, bike, or scooter, then you could make up to $300 a day — or more — for dropping off dinner to hungry diners in your town.

You can deliver on your own schedule, and pick up as many hours as you want. Lunch and dinner hours are when there is high demand, but you can work any hours you’d like to as long as there are orders coming in.

You do need to be age 18 or older to work for a food delivery app. Some apps even set a minimum delivery age of 19 or 21.

Popular delivery apps to check out include:

  • Uber Eats
  • DoorDash
  • Grubhub
  • GoPuff
  • Drizly

With any of these food delivery apps, you can cash out your earnings daily. Finding a gig that you can complete and cash out for within the same day is always helpful (but not always common). For many other gigs, you need to wait a few days to a couple of weeks in order to get paid.

While you probably will not be able to make $300 a day every day, it is possible to break the $300 figure. You can even watch YouTube challenge videos of food delivery drivers who make more than $500 within a day.

To reach $300+ in earnings you’ll need to rely on peak or surge pay incentives, work the best local markets, and pounce on special events that can drive up demand.

And on more “normal” delivery days, most drivers can clear $100 to $200.

How to Double $10k Quickly

The post How to Double $10k Quickly appeared first on Millennial Money.

At Millennial Money, we’ve shared a number of the best ways for everyday people to earn an extra $10k through various gig economy apps and online side hustles. There are a tons of different activities you can engage in to boost your income.

But in addition to working for money, you should put your money to work for you. This article will cover 7 different ways to see high returns on your money and build true wealth. We’ll also cover related questions about the benefits and risks involved with significantly growing your funds.

Set Realistic Expectations

Before we dig into the top ways to double $10k quickly, we need to level-set expectations and put out a word of caution.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

There is no risk-free way to double your money. If you have low-risk tolerance, there are more conservative bets. If you want to try doubling up, you need to take into account:

  • How involved do you want to be
  • Your timeframe (24 hours isn’t realistic, but several months to a few years could be)
  • Guidance from your financial planner or other qualified personal finance advisor

7 Proven Ways to Double $10k Quickly

1. Retail Arbitrage

Retail arbitrage offers an effective way to turn $10K into $20K. Many sellers have had success doing this as a full-time online business. While their success doesn’t guarantee you’ll strike it rich, this particular business model has a lot of potential when well executed.

Flipping items for money online involves acquiring products cheaply directly from wholesalers or suppliers — like AliExpress or Alibaba — and then reselling the goods for a hefty markup on sites like Amazon.

You can find endless resources on goods that sell well on Amazon — in blogs, explainer videos on YouTube, and even through Amazon’s reseller resources.

Hare some of the most popular goods that sell well on Amazon that you can also acquire cheaply:

  • Phone and electronics accessories
  • Pet supplies
  • Toys and games
  • Apparel and shoes
  • Fashion accessories
  • Hair accessories
  • Home and kitchen goods
  • Health and beauty products

2. Invest in Stocks and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)

Investing in stocks and ETFs is another way to double $10k quickly. Commonly, you can double your money every 6 to 7 years, assuming annual rates of return of around 10 to 12 percent. Compound interest, the ability to earn interest on top of interest, makes it possible for investment accounts.

There are a few ways to go about making money this way:

  • Capital gains: Most common way to make money is through earnings capital gains on stocks and ETFs. Here, you’re hoping the price of your investment will go up so you can sell it for a gain in profit.
  • Dividends: This is when stocks and ETFs make regular distributions or payments to shareholders. Dividends are paid out from its profits (whereas capital gains are specifically related to selling the investment for greater than the original purchase price). It’s possible to earn both capital gains and dividends on your investment.
  • Short selling: A more sophisticated strategy that involves selling stocks you don’t actually own — through borrowing the stocks from someone else. When the price goes down (hopefully), you can buy it back for less than you had sold it for and make a profit. If the price goes up you would lose money.
  • Options trading: Here, you buy the rights (but aren’t obliged) to buy or sell an asset at a specific price — the strike price — on or before a set future date. You could potentially make a profit if the underlying asset price went up or down depending on your contract. This is a risky play but can yield a whole lot of money if the market plays out in your favor.

There are many fintech and micro-investment app platforms available for consumers to directly invest their money in stocks, ETFs, index funds, mutual funds, and other stock market offerings. Among these apps:

These apps are designed to be beginner-friendly, easy for consumers with little stock market knowledge to learn the ins and outs of investment. For just a few dollars, you can invest in various funds, commodities, NFTS like Bitcoin cryptocurrency, and stock shares.

With any of these investment options, it’s strongly recommended that you speak with a stockbroker or CFA (Certified Financial Advisor).

INVESTMENT AND INSURANCE PRODUCTS ARE: NOT A DEPOSIT • NOT FDIC INSURED • NO BANK GUARANTEE • MAY LOSE VALUE

3. Start an Airbnb Side Hustle

With $10,000, you could start an Airbnb side hustle and see a fantastic return on your initial investment.

This $10K budget won’t work for all cities, but in many places, it’s enough to cover the down payment on a small condo or apartment in a popular area. In tourist mecca Nashville, Tenn. for example, you can buy a small condo in a trendy part of the town for just $110K.

With a $10K budget, that could cover the cost of a down payment, furniture, and incidentals for your guests (i.e., bath linens, kitchenware), marketing (high-quality photos), and any contingency expenses.

This is not an undertaking to go into lightly though.

  • Do your research Understand what the Airbnb market is in your area, including competition, demand, surge periods, and appropriate pricing.
  • Find the right property. Well-maintained, brightly lit spaces in desirable (touristic) areas do best. Make sure the city, co-op, or building allows for Airbnb rentals.
  • Market your property. Do not skimp on visuals. High-quality photos with well-arranged furnishings will attract more views and get more bookings.
  • Provide outstanding customer service. Always key when running your own business, but doubly so when it involves providing the comforts of home to travelers who are away from home.
  • Have a contingency plan for slow periods. Have a backup plan for how to carry costs when bookings are down. These slower periods make it all the more important to get the pricing right during other times of the year, like getting top dollar when there are surges in demand.

Other Rental Opportunities

During slower periods for your Airbnb rental, you can look for other creative ways to monetize your property.

  • List your property on Vrbo, TripAdvisor, or other similar home booking sites.
  • Network with local groups and organizations in your area. Your Airbnb may be a great space to host a birthday party, a Girl Scouts sleepover, or a church youth group event.
  • Market it as a remote workspace. If your condo is by the lake or in a trendy urban district, you could set it up as a workspace for rent. Remote work travel is in. A printer, standalone monitors, and other related expenses are fairly minimal. And this investment can make your property attractive to even more travelers.
  • Rent out your home by the hour. Many businesses, creators, or photographers will rent out homes by the hour. At a 2-hour rental minimum, a 2-hour rental fee could be more than what you could have charged for an overnight stay – and for much less work.

The work involved with renting out a property — including the interaction with travelers and other space occupants — isn’t for everyone. But for many people, it’s a very fun and lucrative gig.

4. Invest In real estate

Investing in real estate is another lucrative way to grow your bank account. While commonly seen as a rich man’s game, you don’t need millions of dollars to play.

Admittedly, $10K is a very small sum in the real estate investment world, but a number of real estate investment apps are making it accessible for everyday people.

Some of these apps include:

  • Fundrise – It takes an opening deposit of just $10 to get started with Fundrise, a real estate investment app known for being very beginner-friendly. Within the app, your funds are pooled together with the funds of many other users and they are invested into different kinds of real estate: commercial, single-family homes, apartment buildings, and more.
  • Groundfloor – A different kind of real estate investment app, it allows you to invest in short-term real estate debt. Within the app, you buy shares of securities of it. Borrowers apply for short-term loans (typically lasting 6 to 18 months) from Groundfloor. These hard money loans are commonly used to flip houses or for other commercial ventures.
  • Arrived Homes – Arrived Homes is a crowdfunded type of real estate investment app. For minimal capital, you can invest in single-family residential properties that Arrived Homes will purchase, hold for several years (commonly 5 to 7), and then sell for a profit. You’ll get paid from Arrived Homes as rental income is collected. You’ll also earn quarterly dividend payments and capital gains once the property is sold. Your payments are proportionate to your percentage of ownership in any home.
  • RealtyMogul – Another popular real estate investment platform, RealtyMogul focuses exclusively on commercial real estate which does include rental property. An account minimum of $5K is required. This includes both accredited and nonaccredited investors. While RealtyMogul investors have seen attractive rates of return, the complexity of their offerings may be off-putting to more novice investors.

5. Peer-to-peer lending (P2P)

Peer-to-peer lending is a way for individuals with capital to lend it to individuals and businesses who could not otherwise qualify for traditional bank loans with favorable interest rates.

You can earn money by funding these loans and feel good about helping these borrowers.

P2P lending enables borrowers to avoid high-interest or subprime loans like Payday loans with 400% APR interest rates.

  • Interest payments: As a lender, you’ll earn money from the interest that borrowers pay on loans.
  • Early repayment fees: If there is an early loan repayment fee, the lender would collect it. Generally, it’s a percentage of the total outstanding balance.
  • Reinvest your earnings: As you earn a return on your investment — loan repayments with interest come in — you can look for new investment options and generate additional loans.

The amount of money lenders can make through peer-to-peer lending depends on many factors, including how much money you invest (lend to borrowers), the interest rates of loans generated, and the default rates of loan borrowers.

As with any form of investment, there is an inherent risk that comes with P2P lending. Here are some steps that you can take to minimize those risks:

  • Do your research before investing in any loan so that you fully understand the risks involved. Research a borrower’s credit score, the loan’s interest rate, and understand the purpose of the loan.
  • Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Spread out your funds across a variety of loans to limit your risk. While one borrower may default, if you spread out your money across multiple loans it is unlikely that every single borrower is going to default.

Two of the top peer-to-peer lending platforms to consider are Lending Club and Prosper.

6. Cryptocurrency

While it has experienced some volatility in recent years, crypto enthusiasts are in it for the long haul. You can invest in cryptocurrency through some brokerage firms (like Morgan Stanley) or through popular exchanges like Binance, Kraken, or Coinbase.

Within a cryptocurrency exchange, there are a number of different ways you can make money.

  • Buy and hold: This is similar to capital gains for individual stocks or ETFs. You buy a certain quantity of cryptocurrency and then hold onto the asset for the long term. You’re anticipating that the price will rise so that you can sell at a later date for a gain in profit.
  • Day trading: This is a more hands-on approach where you buy and sell crypto frequently to make a profit (hopefully) from short-term fluctuations in prices.
  • Staking: Earn interest on your crypto Stake your cryptocurrency means you’re locking it up and keeping it secure for the broader network. In exchange, you’ll earn rewards. Not all cryptos support staking though.
  • Lending: Another way to earn interest. You can lend your cryptocurrency to a borrower and earn interest on the loan.
  • Mining: This is how you create new (more) cryptocurrency. It requires specialized hardware (sophisticated computers) to solve complex mathematical problems.
  • Airdrops: This is a way you might be lucky enough to get free crypto. Sometimes (new) crypto projects will give away free coins to promote their currency.
  • Forks: This is a way to create a new cryptocurrency from a cryptocurrency that already exists. When this happens, users of the old or original crypto are awarded the same amount but in the new currency offshoot.

Depending on your perspective, you may consider cryptocurrency to be a lower-risk or a higher-risk investment. If you are interested in investing in cryptocurrency, make sure to do your research and take steps to minimize your risk.

7. Resell Products on Amazon FBA

Amazon FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) is a program that enables you to sell goods on the Amazon.com marketplace while Amazon does most of the heavy lifting.

You acquire goods cheaply from wholesalers and suppliers and then sell those goods at an increase in cost so you can make a profit with each unit sold. But unlike being a direct Amazon seller, you don’t have to store and ship out the merchandise. Amazon manages those logistics and takes a deeper commission cut in exchange.

You purchase the goods you want to sell and then ship them to the nearest Amazon warehouse or fulfillment center. When a customer makes a purchase from your product page, Amazon will collect their payment, process (pack and pick) the order, and then ship it to the customer.

Popular Amazon FBA suppliers include:

  • AliExpress or Alibabaa
  • DHGate
  • Royal Apparel
  • TopTenWholesale

Any of these supplier sites sell housewares, toys, apparel, and other consumer goods for a fraction of the list prices you see on the Amazon site. They sell just about anything you could find on Amazon, including the marketplace’s top-selling products.

Beyond the merchandise you will need to purchase, you’ll also need to set up an Amazon Professional Seller account. There is a $39.99 monthly fee for this service. You’ll also need to set up an Amazon store, add the products you want to sell, and create product listings.

There are services you can use, like Jungle Scout or Helium 10, to conduct product research and find the best products for you to sell based on profitability and your niche.

According to research by Jungle Scout, Most Amazon sellers make at least $1K per month and 26% of Amazon sellers earn at least $25K per month.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the easiest way of doubling your money?

The easiest way to double your money could be trading options. Investors can rapidly double their money — or lose everything. It’s like the roulette wheel of the investment world with somebody placing all their chips on red or black.

Other safer ways to double your money — at a slower clip — are a much better bet. This includes retail arbitrage, flipping used goods on Facebook Marketplace or eBay, or investing in real estate.

How else can I make $10K quickly?

If you have existing work clients or social followers, you could make $10K quickly by consulting, blogging, vlogging, tutoring online, or freelancing.

If you’re starting from scratch, here are some ways you can go about making $10K quickly:

  • Rent a spare bedroom
  • Sell your car and switch to public transportation
  • Driving for Lyft or Uber
  • Deliver groceries or meals through a gig economy app
  • Start a dropship e-commerce business

Bottom Line

11+ Jobs You Can Do from Your Phone

The post 11+ Jobs You Can Do from Your Phone appeared first on Millennial Money.

Anyone with a smartphone and connection to the internet has the ability to work at home — or from a library, coffee shop, car, or anywhere else they can get online.

Are you coming up short on bills every month and looking for a part-time hustle you can do from just about anywhere with your mobile phone?

Then read on for some of the best jobs you do from your phone.

11+ Best Jobs You Can Do From Your Phone

Here are the top jobs you can do from your phone in 2023:

  1. Complete Online Surveys
  2. Play Games
  3. Deliver Fast Food with DoorDash
  4. Deliver Groceries with Instacart
  5. Drive for Uber
  6. Complete Online Reviews
  7. Test Apps
  8. Pet Sit or Dog Walk
  9. Rent out Your Parking Spot
  10. Rent Out Your Storage Space
  11. Start a Podcast
  12. TikTok Creator
  13. YouTuber

1. Complete Online Surveys

Taking paid surveys is a side hustle you can do directly from your phone. It’s a fun way to get paid for your opinions. I myself have earned a couple of thousand dollars from cash surveys through a few different popular survey apps.

Brands and market research firms need consumer feedback, so they partner with survey apps. These apps have millions of members who are willing to share their honest feedback in exchange for cash and gift card rewards.

Most online surveys will pay $0.25 to $5. While you can’t make a full-time living from surveys — or even regular part-time wages — you could reasonably earn an extra $1,500 to $2,000 a year for doing online surveys from your phone. To reach this figure, you would need to put in consistent daily effort — earning at least $3 to $5 a day.

Some of the best paid survey apps to check out include:

2. Play Games

There are a number of apps and gaming platforms that will pay you for playing games on your phone. While you can’t earn a full-time living from mobile games, you can earn an extra $20 to $100 a month for this pursuit.

Considering you probably already play games on your phone anyway, why not earn an extra $240 to $1,200 a year for it?

There are a few ways to earn cash and gift cards for playing games on your phone.

  • Sign up to play popular games of chance that pay cash, like Blackout Bingo, 21 Blitz, Pool Payday, or Solitaire Cube. You will need to wager cash, but you can wager less than $1 for games with smaller prizes. You can install a cash game directly to your phone from the app store.
  • Play different games on gaming platforms like Mistplay, Gamehag, or Money Well. You’ll get paid for the total number of minutes played or for completing specific in-app actions within the game. These game platforms feature hundreds of titles, including many in the top 10 of app store game charts.
  • Join a rewards app that features games among its different online earning activities. Apps like KashKick, Upromise, and MyPoints will pay you for installing and playing featured games from a variety of genres like casino, action, role-play, card, or word games.

For most of these game apps, you will receive payment via PayPal. Amazon gift cards, Venmo, Cash App, or prepaid credit cards may also be offered.

3. Deliver Fast Food with DoorDash

Delivering food for DoorDash is another outstanding way to make money using your phone. If you’d prefer chauffeuring food — not people — around town, then this is the gig for you. Wages can vary greatly based on when you work (lunch and dinner rush are busiest) and the market you live in.

There is also the opportunity to earn extra cash for peak pay or other bonuses and for referring friends.

Here are some of the basic requirements to drive for DoorDash.

  • Age: Must be 18 years old to deliver.
  • Eligible vehicle: No specific requirements — can be any car make or model.
  • Valid insurance and driver’s license: The vehicle must be covered by auto insurance, with your name listed on the policy as the owner or a covered driver. The policy must adhere to all local and state laws.

4. Deliver Groceries with Instacart

Picking up and dropping off a load of groceries for your neighbor is a steady way to earn extra cash.

For Instacart drivers, the orders are all ready to go. But Instacart does have in-store shoppers — separate from drivers — who pick and assemble orders for drivers to deliver.

The total order size, the distance you will need to drive, and other factors can impact your potential earnings per delivery. The market or location where you live is generally the biggest driver.

To drive for either service, you must be at least 18 years old, have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, and have auto insurance.

5. Drive for Uber

Driving for a rideshare service like Uber is a flexible side hustle that enables you to earn cash using a rideshare driver app and your vehicle.

Potential earnings are greatly tied to specific markets. Drivers in large, busy cities tend to see the highest wages.

Here are some of the basic requirements to drive for Uber.

  • Age: Must be 21 years or older to drive for either service.
  • Eligible vehicle: Requirements can vary based on state or city. Generally, you must have a 4-door vehicle that is 15 years old or newer. A vehicle must also pass inspection, a service the rideshare company pays for. There are inspection locations for both apps throughout the U.S.
  • Additional inspection requirements: In New York, your vehicle must pass a DMV inspection every four months and you are responsible for these appointments.
  • Valid insurance and driver’s license: The vehicle must be covered by valid auto insurance, with your name listed as the policyholder or as a covered driver on the policy. The policy must meet all minimum state and local auto insurance requirements.

6. Complete Online Reviews

If you love music, TV, or fashion, Slicethepie could be a great way to make some extra money from your phone. This review site will pay you cash for offering your uncensored opinions on new artists, new styles, and upcoming TV shows.

The earnings are quite low — less than $1 per review or task. But if you already love discovering the latest trends, why not earn a little bit of cash while you’re at it?

It’s pretty straightforward. You’ll be shown a sample to view or listen to and then asked to rate it on a scale of 1-10 and then leave detailed comments. It will take you about 90 seconds to listen to or watch a clip, and your feedback must be 60 words or longer.

You can’t earn more than $1 to $2 an hour. But if you love being first in the know, this could be a great phone hustle for you.

You can cash out your earnings via PayPal once you reach at least $10.

7. Test Apps

You can get paid to test apps from your mobile device. As an app tester, you get to try new apps and answer a series of questions about how the app performs and how easy it is for you to find and perform specific functions within the app.

You’ll work with app developers and product managers to ensure the app you test is functional, user-friendly, and free of bugs.

You can also leave additional feedback about the graphic design or app aesthetics, menu layout, and overall enjoyability of the app experience.

Here are some user testing programs to consider:

  • UserTesting: Earn $4 to $120 per test. Cash out via PayPal.
  • Userlytics: Earn $5 to $90 per test. Cash out via PayPal.
  • TryMyUI: Each test is 20 minutes long and pays $10. TryMyUI pays out via PayPal every Friday.

8. Pet Sit or Dog Walk

Walking dogs on Rover or Wag can be a great way to hustle in extra cash. There’s no laptop or office set-up needed for this gig; just a smartphone, an internet connection, and a love for dogs.

With Rover, it’s not just a phone-friendly gig. A phone is a must. You have to have the Rover app on while you’re working so it can track your movement via GPS, thus ensuring you actually stopped by the client’s house to let out the dog and that you took them for a walk.

Rover has dog sitters and walkers available in over 3,000 cities. Wag has a smaller footprint and is available in over 40 cities throughout the U.S.

9. Rent out Your Parking Spot

If you’ve got extra car room that you’re not using — in front of your house or in your driveway — why not rent it out and cash in on it?

There are a number of apps that allow you to list your garage stall or assigned parking spot for rent. Popular options include Spacer, CurbFlip, SpotHero, or Neighbor. These programs will charge a commission for each booking.

While you could list a parking spot yourself (i.e., Facebook Marketplace) and directly collect any payment, there are benefits to using a reputable app. The parking app will have a broad audience of people looking for parking that you can tap into, and it will handle processing payments and any liability issues.

You can list your parking spot by the day, for a one-time event (i.e. State Fair parking), by the month, or for indefinite storage.

Depending on the type of spot you have available — driveway, garage, or curbside — you could earn $25 to $300 a month. Even at $25 a month, that’s still an extra $300 a year in your pocket for a parking spot that you weren’t already using.

10. Rent Out Your Storage Space

Similar to renting out a spare bedroom or parking space, you can earn cash for renting out extra storage space in your home.

Whether it’s a crawl space under the stairs, an unused hallway closet, or an empty garage stall, you can monetize that extra square footage by renting it out to neighbors and other community members who need a space to stash their stuff.

You can list your available space on storage apps like Neighbor, SpareFoot, or StoreAtMyHouse. These apps will take a commission for any bookings, but they will also make the process go a lot smoother. They’ll connect you with people who need storage, recommend pricing, handle contracts, and deal with other logistics.

Depending on what you’re storing, the terms (length), and the kind of storage space you have available, you could make an extra $300 to $10,000 a year. And according to Neighbor — the app that bills itself as the Airbnb of storage — you could even make a whopping $15,000 a year or more.

11. Start a Podcast

Podcasts have exploded in popularity and are a great way to make money from your phone. This particular side hustle has the potential to become a full-time work-from-home job.

While fancy microphones and sound equipment can improve the audio experience, to get started you just need a smartphone and the ability to tap the voice record button. Good communication skills — to discuss a variety of perspectives — are a must.

As for topics, you can start a podcast related to just about anything. Murder mystery, lifestyle, fitness, mental health, wellness, current events, sports, and parenting are some popular genres.

You can upload your podcast episodes to Android and Apple podcast libraries. Make sure to make your content accessible for both device types.

With a podcast, there are a number of ways to monetize the content and your following:

  • Sponsorships: Find brands and businesses who are interested in being featured on your show.
  • Advertising or affiliate marketing: Make money by advertising or recommending products in your podcast.
  • Patreon: This platform allows creators to charge their listeners or followers for access to exclusive content or other special benefits.
  • Merchandise: Sell branded merchandise that’s related to your podcast, like t-shirts, stickers, mugs, or trucker hats.
  • Speaking engagements: Many successful podcasters are invited to speak at various events or conferences.

12. TikTok Creator

Many businesses and digital marketers are intimidated by TikTok and Snapchat. Apart from static images and text updates on social media, they don’t really know how to do social. They will gladly pay content-savvy creators to make clips, reels, product photography, and other posts for them.

As a content creator for other brands, you don’t need to have a huge following. In fact, your following size probably doesn’t matter at all. You just need to be able to create engaging social posts.

13. YouTuber

Using your phone, you can build and monetize a YouTube channel. You can make videos and reels on just about any topic.

Here are some popular ideas:

  • How-to videos
  • Product reviews
  • Unboxing videos
  • Gaming videos
  • Educational videos
  • Comedy videos
  • Vlogs

There are many ways to monetize your YouTube channel. The most common way is to join the YouTube Partner Program. To quality, you need at least 1,000 subscribers with 4,000 public watch hours in the past 12 months. Or 1,000 subscribers with at least 10 million valid Shorts views in the past 90 days.

As a program member, you can earn money from ads that you run in your videos. How much you earn will depend on how many views you get, how many ads you run, and the type of ads you enable. You can also earn money by displaying ads on your YouTube page.

As with becoming an influencer or blogger, it will take time to build a successful YouTube channel. But it is doable through steady effort. Cross-promoting your channel — through connecting with other YouTube creators and sharing your videos on social media — can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common FAQs about remote work and smartphone jobs.

How can I go about finding jobs you can do from your phone?

Here are some tips to help you find the best jobs you can do from your phone.

  1. Use mobile job apps like Steady or JobGet.
  2. Update your resume. Some jobs, not all, will require a resume. Update it once and then you’ll be all set. This way you won’t get frustrated when you’re half-way through an application and you’re asked for your resume.
  3. Look for work that aligns with your interests. If you hate social media, steer clear from social media influencer work.
  4. Play up to your strengths. If you have a naturally outgoing personality, look for phone-app jobs that have an in-person component too — like the chance to interact with people when you drop off an order.

What other work can I do from my phone?

Beyond these app-based jobs, there are a number of other jobs that you can do remotely.

  • Tech support
  • Online tutoring
  • Customer support
  • Call center jobs
  • Data entry jobs
  • Proofreading and editing
  • Social media manager or assistant
  • Virtual Assistant
  • Healthcare transcriptionist work
  • English language teacher
  • Photographer
  • Paid surveys (to earn an extra cash, not full-time income)

In general, any work that’s cloud-based — work that you can access through websites and online programs — can be done as a remote job from your phone.

How can I work from my phone without a keyboard and a large monitor?

For less than $20, you can buy a portable, foldable keyboard that you can pair with your phone. For this same affordable price, you can also buy a portable display monitor that you can connect to your phone.

This can make your phone function just like a PC or laptop workstation where you even have two screens. And it’s a lot more portable. Even though I have a laptop, I often prefer just grabbing my phone and keyboard because they are much smaller and lighter. It’s way easier to camp out in a coffee shop this way.

Can I make a living from my phone?

Yes! We’ve covered a number of different work-from-phone jobs that you can complete, as well as more casual side gigs to earn a bit of extra cash.

And as discussed in our last section, for less than $40 you can transform your smartphone into a laptop-style workstation with a portable monitor and lightweight keyboard.

Bottom Line

If you want a side gig you can do on your phone to boost your regular income, or you want to find your next career, there are endless ways to make money from your phone.

We’ve shared with you a range of different options for you to consider, and insider tips on wages, work resources, and job boards.

Whether your next phone gig pays $3 an hour or $30 an hour, it’s a start. And any start is a good one.

How to Make Quick Money in One Day

The post How to Make Quick Money in One Day appeared first on Millennial Money.

We’ve all been there. Sometimes, you find yourself in a tight financial spot, and you need to figure out how to make money quick, as in today!

We’ve outlined some of the best ways to make quick money when you’re in a pinch.

While none of these are replacements for a regular income, they are a great way to earn a little extra money on short notice.

19 Ways to Make Quick Money in One Day

Here are some great ways to make money quick:

  1. Drive for Rideshare Services
  2. Deliver Groceries
  3. Have a Yard Sale
  4. Sell Your Clothes
  5. Sell Your Furniture
  6. Sell Unused Gift Cards
  7. Advance Your Paycheck
  8. Do Odds Jobs
  9. Leverage Sign-up Bonuses
  10. Pre-sell Your Labor
  11. Take Surveys
  12. Freelance Online
  13. Tutor Online
  14. Sell Digital Products
  15. Donate Plasma
  16. Pet Sitting
  17. Participate in Research Studies
  18. Babysitting
  19. Cash in Bottles and Cans

1. Drive for Rideshare Services

If you own a car and have a good driving record, driving for Uber or Lyft is an excellent way to make quick money.

Driving for a rideshare company is a popular way to earn quick cash. According to Indeed, Uber drivers make approximately $19 per hour, which equates to a $39,520 annual salary.

The major benefit of driving for a company like Uber or Lyft is that you can work around your own schedule and withdraw your earnings that day.

So why don’t more people drive for rideshare services? Not everybody meets the minimum requirements needed to drive for rideshare companies.

  • Must meet state or city driver age requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have an eligible four-door vehicle
  • Must have at least one year of licensed driving experience
  • Must have auto insurance and registration
  • May undergo a driving record and criminal history screening

If you are unable to drive for Uber or Lyft based on these requirements, there are other options for using your car to make quick money.

2. Deliver Groceries

Are you a person who actually enjoys grocery shopping? If so, delivering groceries with Instacart is a way to earn quick cash.

Like driving for rideshare, delivering groceries let’s you work on your own schedule and earn anywhere from $10-$25 per hour.

Running errands like grocery shopping for people is a great side hustle for people who don’t mind using their car to make money but don’t feel like making small talk like when driving for Uber or Lyft.

To get started, download apps like Instacart and sign up as a Shopper.

  • Must have access to a vehicle
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have mobile access to a smartphone or similar device

Delivering groceries isn’t the only way you can make money with your vehicle. Apps like Uber Eats, PostMates, and Doordash offer great opportunities for people whose car may not meet rideshare requirements.

3. Have a Yard Sale

Hosting a yard or garage sale is one of the best ways to earn some quick money and declutter your home simultaneously.

While a yard sale is a one-day event, the best way to ensure a successful sale is to plan a week or more ahead of time. Begin by selecting a date and time for your garage sale. Be sure to inform your town and neighborhood by posting flyers around town and on social media.

Next, you’ll need to sort through your belongings and gather up items you no longer want or need. Clean and organize your things into categories that shoppers can easily browse. You can also put price tags on items that are non-negotiable price-wise.

Finally, on the day of the garage sale, arrange your belongings in organized and visually appealing sections. Use tables, racks, and bins to display items clearly and make it easier for shoppers to browse. Be friendly and open to negotiation when people approach you. After all, you’re a one-person shop, and providing a good shopping experience is up to you.

Be sure to offer multiple forms of payment, including cash, Venmo, PayPal, and even debit or credit card if you have the capability. The flexibility of offering multiple payment options can increase your chances of making a sale.

4. Sell Your Clothes

Most of us have things in our closets that are collecting dust. Whether you were gifted something that isn’t your style or you just didn’t love a piece as much as you thought you would, selling your clothes is a great way to make money online.

You can make money by selling your clothes in two ways: online and in-store. Selling clothes online is typically the best way to make a decent return, but it can require more work up front, like taking good photos and uploading a listing. Sites like Poshmark, ThredUp, and Depop are the most popular with online thrifters and sellers alike.

Selling your clothes online can be more lucrative than a consignment store, but it also takes time to process sales and access your earnings. If you need money today, try selling your clothes at Plato’s Closet or Buffalo Exchange. You can bring a bag of clothes, and they will pay you on the spot for any pieces they like.

5. Sell Your Furniture

Clothes and knick-knacks aren’t the only things cluttering your space. Free up some room around your house by listing some of your furniture for sale online!

Selling your furniture is a great way to earn extra income, declutter your space, and make room for better pieces of furniture. Start by looking at what you already have and consider if people would be interested in buying it. Ask yourself: is this a piece that someone would want to repurchase? Is it in reasonably good condition? How much can I expect to earn from this piece of furniture?

Once you’ve determined if a piece of furniture is resellable, you need to create a listing on an online marketplace. The most popular sites to buy and sell furniture are Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Craigslist, and OfferUp. Your listing should include high-quality photos showing off the piece and a detailed description highlighting the item’s unique qualities, dimensions, and condition.

You can expect some negotiating when interacting with potential buyers, so it’s recommended that you list the item at a price that’s at the higher end of what you can expect to earn. Once you reach an agreement, you can arrange a pickup or delivery and payment method.

6. Sell Unused Gift Cards

Most of us have, at some point, received a gift card to a retailer that we have no interest in shopping at. If you have gift cards that are collecting dust in a drawer, you can sell them online for cash instead!

There are several websites that will buy back your unused or unwanted gift cards for real cash offers. While you won’t get the full value of the gift card back, you can expect to get about a 92% return, which is much better than having unused money laying around.

CardCash, Cardsell, GiftCash, and GiftDeals are among the most popular gift card resell sites. You can put in your gift card and its remaining balance to see how much you can get in return. Some sites will even let you convert your unused gift cards into cards you will use.

7. Advance Your Paycheck

If you are truly in a pinch, asking your employer for a paycheck advance or seeking out cash advance loan options is one way to address immediate financial needs.

Before pursuing a paycheck advance or loan, familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of such an option. Your employer may have specific eligibility requirements, and a payday loan with a financial institution may come with high-interest rates, fees, and quick repayment terms. Be sure that you understand the full implications on your personal finances before exploring these options.

Some employers may offer occasional paycheck advances or assistance programs as an employee benefit. Check with your human resources department to see if they have any of these programs available.

If your employer does not offer paycheck advances, there are plenty of cash advance apps out there to help you make it through until your next paycheck.

Plus, many of these apps offer low-fee, low-interest, and fast funding options to help you borrow what you need. These apps include options like Brigit, Earnin, Dave, Albert, and MoneyLion.

8. Do Odd Jobs

In today’s fast-paced world, lots of people are pressed for time. Many of us barely have enough time to cover basic chores, let alone organize our homes or assemble furniture. Luckily, plenty of people are willing to pay someone to tackle odd jobs for them.

If you are willing to be someone’s extra set of hands, there are plenty of places to look for odd jobs that will earn you money today. Sites like Craigslist or TaskRabbit let you search for job postings in your area for people needing help around the house or a few errands run on their behalf.

While Craigslist is great for finding true odd jobs, TaskRabbit is the best app to search for one-off or recurring gigs near you. Sign up as a Tasker, and you can set your hourly rate and list the days and times you’re able to work. From there, it becomes easy to find paying gigs near you.

9. Leverage Sign-up Bonuses

If you’re looking for an easy way to make free money, taking advantage of sign-up bonuses is an easy way to pad your wallet today.

There are lots of cashback apps, investment apps, and banks out there that are dying for new members. The best way to make themselves stand out from the crowd is to offer sign-up bonuses to get your foot in the door. These sign-up bonuses can be as high as $200 or $2,000 in some cases.

Sign-on bonuses aren’t the only way you can earn free money. Many apps also offer referral bonuses when you get friends, family, or followers to sign up using your unique code. This is an easy way to pool money to put aside in a savings account or toward your bills and expenses.

10. Pre-sell Your Labor

If you need cash today, one way for beginners to earn money is to pre-sell manual labor or services to your friends and family.

Maybe it’s summer, but your dad always asks you to shovel the driveway in the winter. Or perhaps you told your friend you’d be happy to rake leaves in the fall. Offer to sell certificates or coupons that your friends and family can buy now and redeem later.

The best part of this is that you can get creative. You can pre-sell manual labor, administrative work, or even creative services. No matter what you do, don’t forget to follow through when your friends and relatives redeem the coupon.

11. Take Surveys

Online survey sites or get-paid-to (GPT) sites often get a bad rap for not paying as much as other side gigs. But we think that if you have reasonable expectations and view them as a way to pass the time, they can turn into a fun and easy way to pad your wallet.

So, how do online surveys work? Basically, brands pay market research companies to conduct focus group research on what consumers think about their products, services, or marketing campaigns.

The marketing companies will then outsource this work to sites like Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, or InboxDollars to gather results on their behalf. Paid surveys will sweeten the pot for users by offering to split the pay with them as an incentive to take surveys, watch videos, and more.

Survey sites are an effective way to earn some extra cash or gift cards to your favorite retailers. However, you shouldn’t expect to earn a high payout.

Instead, think of them as a way to earn a bit of cash in your spare time, like waiting in line at the grocery store or rewatching your favorite show. If you stay consistent, you can rack up points and cash them in for rewards.

12. Freelance Online

One of the best ways to make quick cash – and potentially replace your full-time job – is to sell your services online as a freelancer.

Freelancing has taken off in the digital age because people can now hire professionals from anywhere in the world. Whether you’re a freelance writer, graphic designer, developer, or artist, you can pitch and sell your services to companies or individuals who desperately need your help.

A solid freelancing business takes some time to get off the ground, so you won’t be able to pick up freelancing and have money in your pocket by the end of the day. But freelancing is probably the best way to make good money, so it’s worth investing the time and energy for the chance to earn as much as $100 per hour.

To find freelance clients, start with job boards like Fiverr, LinkedIn, and Upwork. These sites will let you create a profile, promote your services, and apply for freelance jobs. You’ll also be able to easily withdraw money you earn from your account, which is handy in a pinch.

14. Sell Digital Products

The number-one way to set yourself up for personal financial success is to earn passive income. One of the best ways to do this is to sell digital products online.

As the name implies, digital products are goods or resources sold and delivered online. This can include ebooks, online courses, software templates, graphics, music, photography, and even art prints. What makes selling digital products such a lucrative business opportunity is that it requires very little time investment beyond the creation of the product and upkeep of the shop. You don’t have to do inventory or pack and ship orders. You can more or less set it and forget it.

To create a digital product, you need to start by considering your skills, expertise, and the market demand for specific products. Let’s say you’re a graphic designer. You have a number of digital products you can make and sell. You can create digital planner templates for Goodnotes or art print downloads. Or you can create an online course to teach people how to become a graphic designer. Or you can do all three and more. The options are endless.

Once you create your digital product(s), you need to pick a sales platform to host and sell your products. If you’re selling an ebook, you should create an account on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. If you’re selling an online course, Udemy and Teachable are ideal platforms. For digital art, Etsy is the number-one platform. The best platform for your digital product will depend on the product itself, so do your research and post far and wide.

If you’re comfortable with needles, donating plasma can earn some quick cash and contribute to medical research to help people in need.

Plasma donation centers will offer compensation to people willing to donate their plasma, which is a component of blood. The amount you can receive will depend on the donation center and location. To get started, research donation centers in your area. Check reviews to ensure they adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and compensate their donors fairly. Some centers allow walk-ins, but others may require an appointment beforehand.

Once you arrive at the center, you will undergo a health screening to make sure you’re a viable candidate. This will likely involve checking vital signs, hemoglobin levels, and eligibility requirements.

The donation process typically takes one or two hours, so be sure to bring books or electronic devices to keep yourself occupied. Once you’re finished, you will likely be paid on the spot via direct deposit, PayPal, prepaid debit card, or cash.
